ABOUT VANDYNOW.COM: Since 1951, when Bishop Joseph Johnson became the first African-American to be admitted to Vanderbilt University, over 3700 African-American and Hispanic students have attended Vanderbilt. The VandyNow Networking Community's main goal is to allow those 3700 students and other diverse groups to stay connected and be excited about being a Vandy Alum.
