Leadership

By promoting the inclusion of the next generation of alumni in the general planning, development, and growth efforts in Black Alumni Network communities, we can help shape a better future for all residents of the Black Alumni Network.

Unity

Our goal is to create new possibilities for alumni and supporters of The House Online. We plan to use our time and resources to help the fill the gaps and as well as the underserved needs of our supporters. We’re speaking of the gaps and needs that our alumni have stated in annual business meeting, discussions, online surveys/forums and more.

Diversity

A lively diverse alumni network needs to be viewed as a competitive advantage and an opportunity for all associated. Alumni diversity needs to be viewed as a competitive advantage and a business opportunity. That's why VandyNow makes the vitality of the alumni network our priority and strive to achieve a fully relevant, informed, active, and diverse network.

Vision: An engaged, active community of alumni that are personally invested in improving the quality of life in the alumni community through deliberate collaboration and chance encounters.

Mission: To expand opportunities for alumni in the Black Alumni Network; to develop and retain scholarships; to encourage diversity, quality amenities, and effective collaboration in the Black Alumni Network community; to improve the quality of life, balancing human needs with economic opportunities, for the rmembers of the Black Alumni Network.

ABOUT VANDYNOW.COM: Since 1951, when Bishop Joseph Johnson became the first African-American to be admitted to Vanderbilt University, over 3700 African-American and Hispanic students have attended Vanderbilt. Our Purpose

To creates awareness and generates support for Networking Now alumni. By building relationships with alumni, donors, leaders, business partners, and communities throughout the state and around the world, we encourage investment in and advocacy for the institution. Through communications and outreach, we work to promote understanding and enthusiasm for if majority institutions in the minds of their minority constituents.
